INTRODUCTION
"Messenger" is a platform jumping action adventure game, to "switch the world" as the core gameplay, combined with platform jumping, with a certain degree of operation difficulty. After acquiring skills, players can travel between day and night, overcome impassable obstacles, complete the delivery of messages, but also step by step to get closer to the truth of the world...
IDEA
Today, it is hard to empathize with the devastation of war without having experienced it firsthand. Our game takes a different approach, starting with "a small thing" and telling the player an ordinary but moving story. Missing is a very evocative emotion, and we work from that emotion to make the player feel the pain of a broken world.
As a messenger, the player's job is to help communicate between the two worlds, and the player himself needs to communicate with them separately. In the process, the player learns the importance of communication for peace. Only by building a bridge of communication and acting as their own "messenger", can we resolve conflicts through communication.


GAMEPLAY










The player has the ability to switch the world between black and white. Players need to "switch worlds" to get through seemingly impossible levels. But be aware that grey and red objects don't disappear with the switch, with the latter being especially dangerous.
The design is based on a real psychological study: cultures differ far less than they have in common. Our game also encourages players to discover this connectedness and interpret other cultures in a different way.
